Another stunning invention from Aston Vision Sciences (AVS), the Lumio is a portable, handheld tool designed for efficient and versatile anterior eye examination. It offers fast and clear visualization in both broadband white light and tuned cobalt blue light for fluorescein dye assessments, utilizing the high-performance, clip-in yellow filter. Built with durability in mind, the Lumio features three-stage brightness control, and 7x magnification to enhance diagnostic accuracy and ease of use.
It can be used in a variety of examination locations, including practices, general outpatient settings, specialized ophthalmology departments, paediatric wards, Emergency Rooms and Ambulances, urgent care environments or Domiciliary Visits, homecare, nursing homes, or other community settings.

Lumio can be used in a range of diagnostic and monitoring activities including:

• General anterior eye inspection
• Corneal abrasions/ scratches
• Eye lash epilation
• Corneal ulcers
• Foreign bodies/ debris
• Infections
• Contact lens fitting/ irritation
