Digital wayfinding solution Waymap continues to strengthen its collaboration with their partner SBS Transit, focusing tirelessly on enhancing accessibility, independent mobility and efficient travel for abled and differently-abled people.
SBST has been a strong community proponent of the Enabling Masterplan 2030, focussing on public transportation via close partnerships with SG Enable, LTA and SSAs.
SBST co-launched the Enabling Pathway Programme with SG Enable, ITE and SIMPDF on 3 Sep 2024 to boost employment opportunities for students with disabilities with SBST being the first employer to support ITE students with disabilities by offering technical internships and job prospects.
SBST is part of the “Caring Commuter” movement co-led by government agencies, SSAs and PTOs to transform Singapore’s public transport system and commuter culture into one that is more caring, welcoming and inclusive.
Following successful pilot implementation by SBST at the Tampines Bus Interchange and DTL Tampines Station, Waymap-SG is well positioned as a technological enabler for more inclusive and accessible journeys on the SG public transportation network, with a view to extend the reach into Singapore’s neighbourhoods through a community driven approach.
